Nuclear Lead, Ontario
March is seeking an experienced, energetic and entrepreneurial individual to grow our nuclear operations in Ontario. Leveraging the backing and support of an established firm and your own dynamic combination of sector knowledge, people skills, and technical expertise in nuclear power, you will establish and lead March’s Ontario-based nuclear-focused operations. This is a permanent full-time position, reporting to March’s Director of Clean Energy Systems.

March provides engineering, procurement, project, construction management and advisory services to a variety of resource-based industrial and commercial enterprises. March and its employees have developed specialized expertise in feasibility studies and asset integrity in the heavy industrial sector.
Position Overview
Build the business:
- Develop and maintain relationships with future and existing clients
- Build and maintain a network of contacts to help build business opportunities
- Prepare proposals and estimates for new projects
- Seek growth opportunities to inform strategic planning and to expand March’s nuclear service offerings
Build the team:
- Hire new engineering and project management team members and develop and train them to contribute to project work
- Lead the implementation of N299 for March’s nuclear team
- Integrate auxiliary team members into project teams
- Oversee the management of March’s future Ontario office
Lead and Deliver:
- Lead engineering and project management work scopes under a N299 program
- Provide technical leadership on nuclear work scopes
- Oversee and incorporate the work of auxiliary team members to round out project requirements
- Oversee the completion of quality deliverables to March’s Ontario clients
- Other duties as required
Qualifications
- A bachelors’ degree in Engineering or a comparable combination of Engineering diploma and work experience is required
- 10-15+ years of experience in the nuclear industry, including providing engineering services, working under a nuclear quality program, writing reports, estimating, providing proposals, building relationships
- Professional Engineering (P.Eng.) designation with PEO
- Experience setting and managing budgets to deliver projects and operational targets.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strategic understanding of the nuclear business and growth opportunities in the sector
- Established network within the nuclear sector
- Site experience and/or exposure would be a great asset for this position
- Detail-oriented with a passion for creating high-quality deliverables
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently
- Ability to work effectively within a cross-functional team environment
- Experience leading a team would be a good asset

Compensation: Commensurate with education and experience.
