We are looking for a permanent full-time Project Manager to join either our Saskatoon, Regina, or Calgary team! This position will report to the Manager, Project Services. Indigenous applicants are encouraged to apply.
The Project Manager is responsible for delivering projects in alignment with March’s Project Delivery processes and standards. This role supports all aspects of project performance, including scope, schedule, cost, and quality, and works closely with cross-functional team members to ensure efficient, consistent, and disciplined execution.
The ideal candidate is a self-driven, highly organized professional who can manage multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment while fostering a culture of trust, transparency, and open communication.

March provides engineering, procurement, project, and construction management services to a variety of resource-based industrial and commercial enterprises. Position Overview
Primary Responsibilities
- Collaborate with project teams to deliver results on schedule and within budget
- Support the definition of project objectives and scope, involving relevant internal and client stakeholders
- Develop and maintain project execution plans in collaboration with team members
- Communicate project requirements and ensure clarity of scope, schedule, and deliverables
- Coordinate project resources in conjunction with functional managers in a matrix environment
- Assist in managing multi-discipline teams, including internal resources and third parties/vendors
- Track and report on project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
- Monitor project plans, schedules, and budgets, and identify required adjustments
- Support risk identification and mitigation activities
- Escalate risks and issues to the Project Sponsor or senior leadership, as appropriate
- Assist with managing and documenting changes to scope, schedule, and cost
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with project teams, clients, and stakeholders
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of project execution processes
- Support safe work execution through adherence to applicable safety programs and procedures
- Participate in client interactions and support project-related business activities, as required
- Perform scheduling-related tasks
- Conduct site visits, as required
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field, or diploma in engineering technology
- Minimum 5–8 years of combined Project Management and/or Engineering experience in a related field
- Professional Engineering designation, or eligibility in Saskatchewan or Alberta, is an asset
- PMP designation is preferred (or willingness to obtain)
- Demonstrated experience supporting successful project delivery
- Mining, mineral processing, or similar industrial experience is a strong asset
- Experience with project management software tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6)
- Knowledge of project management frameworks and best practices
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Problem-solving ability with sound judgment and decision-making skills
- Basic data analysis skills for tracking project performance

Compensation: Commensurate with education and experience.
